Seller rules

General information:

• You must be 18 or older

• We partner exclusively with professional, full-time businesses/individuals that have significant inventory, ensuring our marketplace offers a high-quality selection. We are not yet an open marketplace for individuals with very small stock.

• Sellers must verify their identity before they start selling on GG Chest. You can learn more about verification here

• You may open and operate only one GG Chest account, but you can act as a seller and buyer with a single account.

• Sellers must actively participate in disputes raised for their orders and support buyers.

• Sellers acknowledge and accept full legal responsibility for all intellectual property claims, platform enforcement actions, and third-party complaints arising from their listings. 

• Sellers act independently and are solely responsible for ensuring that all listed items comply with applicable intellectual property laws and third-party platform terms; GG Chest acts solely as a marketplace intermediary and does not verify such compliance. 

We have zero tolerance for:

• Scamming/Fraud. Any attempts of scamming/fraud or selling of hacked, stolen, rented, or otherwise illegally obtained accounts, including but not limited to accounts, items, in-game currency, or digital assets obtained through cheating, automation (bots), exploits, unauthorized access, or violation of game mechanics or publisher rules, are strictly forbidden and will lead to a temporary hold on funds and a permanent ban

• Disrespectful behavior. Harassment, threats, inappropriate language, or insults towards buyers, sellers, or the Support team are not tolerated

• Fake pricing. Listings with unrealistically low or high prices are prohibited

• Off-site payments. All payments must be processed through the official GG Chest website

• External communication. All interactions with buyers must be conducted through GG Chest’s messaging system

• Advertising or random listings. It is prohibited to promote other websites, marketplaces, personal stores, or random lottery-like listings

• Recovering sold accounts. Sellers reported for this violation, and refusing to assist buyers in recovering account access will result in a permanent ban.

• Any violation of third-party platform terms of service, including but not limited to game publisher rules, account transfer restrictions, or virtual goods trading restrictions, is strictly prohibited.

General listing and offer handling rules:

• Write original product descriptions (do not copy other sellers). Make sure your listings are unique and reflect your personal style

• Offer details cannot be misleading and they should be clear and direct without any possibility of different interpretation

• Avoid irrelevant details in your offer title and description. Keep them simple, clear, and focused on what you're offering

• Ensure your listings are categorized correctly - place them in the appropriate category and game

• Remove any copyrighted images from game developers in your listings or profile pictures (listings with copyrighted material may be removed). Sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that any images, descriptions, logos, or content used in listings do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights. GG Chest does not verify ownership or licensing of any listing content.

• Duplicate offers are not allowed. You may only list one offer for the same product

• Unrealistically priced offers (e.g., 100000 USD) are not allowed.

• Listings that may mislead users regarding ownership, origin, or authenticity of digital goods are prohibited. 

• Sellers represent and warrant that they own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and authorizations to offer, sell, and transfer any digital goods, accounts, or content listed on GG Chest, and that such listings do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights or platform terms of service. 

Account listing rules:

• It is not allowed to sell shared accounts

• Your offer must clearly specify which platforms the account can be linked to (e.g., Xbox + PlayStation, PC + PlayStation, etc.). By listing an account offer and specifying the platform, you guarantee that the buyer will be able to use the account on that platform

• Descriptions should provide clear and accurate details about your product, such as its features, delivery information, any account restrictions, and anything the buyer needs to know (e.g., if you’re selling a game account with region-specific restrictions, this must be clearly stated in the description)

• We strongly recommend using internationally recognized email domains for the accounts you list. If you choose to use alternative email domains, you must provide the buyer with a direct link to the login page and ensure the email domain is secure and supports the English language

• You must list accounts with full access. If the account is linked to an email address, you must provide login details to both the account and its email.

• Sellers agree that GG Chest may take action (including removal, suspension, or funds hold) based on reports or enforcement requests from intellectual property rights holders or game publishers.
